DRAGAN RACA TO LECTURE CHINESE BASKETBALL FEDERATION COACHES CLINIC

The Head coach of Olympiada Patras, Dragan Raca is the special guest lecturer of the Chinese Basketball Federation in the annual Basketball Clinic for advanced coaches, which is taking place in Beijing, 9-16 of June 2008. The overall invitation to the Dragan Raca is getting even bigger and greater as he will be the first ever coach from Europe, to give lectures to the Chinese advanced coaches after two legends of the NBA, Par Reilly and Del Harris. The program is entitled: the differences of the Asian and European Basketball and has three major chapters: Offence technical analysis, Defense Technical Analysis and Scouting Analysis. This is not the first time that coach Raca accepts such an invitation from a Basketball Federation as in his resume is full of international successes, among them are the production of several books about basketball, his first one Basketball (1998) was translated in eight languages and sold in 68.000 copies but his other books Scouting (1999), Physical preparation of professional teams (2000) and Basic of Basketball (2001) are now used as school books on Sport Universities. His method for physical preparation is officially approved by Indiana University in USA.
