BALKAN LEAGUE BECOMES REALITY

After couple months of preparation, it looks like that Balkan basketball league is ready for establishing. This weekend in famous Radison hotel in Sofia, will be held important meeting. The representative of Basketball federations of Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Macedonia and Serbia will be present to decide about rules and regulation, as well as calender of competition. It s already known that in the first season 10 teams will participate (2 from each country), and that they will be divided in 2 groups per 5 teams. After the end of regular season it will be played quater final games, and winners will go to Final 4. The names of the clubs which will participate be known soon, but most likely that Swisslions Takovo and Mega Aqua Monta are teams from Serbia, which will participate in the opening year.
