THE NEW BOSMAN RULE IN ISRAEL FROM YESTERDAY

The Union of the Israeli players won in the case against Basketball federation of Israel. The decission of the court has been published yesterday, and according to decission Israeli team can sign this season 2 foreinger players (always Americans) and only 1 Bosman player. Last two seasons the rule was "2+2", and now is changed and it will make a lot of problems for the team. For instance Maccabi Tel Aviv have Vujcic and Besok, and one of them will not be able to play in Israeli league. Rannana have already signed Castle with Bosnian passport, and Milsa, with Croatian passport. One of them has to leave the team. The teams are also very mad on Federation, because the President refused setlement, proposed by the Union of the palyers, couple of days ago. The players proposed for this season same rule 2+2, and for the next season as well, but with the restriction that only 3 players out of Israel could be on the same time in the court. The President and Management Board of Federation refused, went to the court and lost completely.
