YUGOSLAVS WON THE FIRST TOURNAMENT IN SYRIA

Al Wahdah, the Syrian team, with two Yugoslav players - Vlatko Ilic, small forward and Vanja Bujic, center, won the first tournament, played in Damascus. The team won all the four games, against Lebanesse team, against Al Jahraa from Kuwait, against Syrian team Al Ittihad, and in the most important game against the Egyptian team and Arab champions team, Al Ittihad Iskandar by 10 points.
