BEOBASKET TEAM WILL PLAY IN MUNDIALITO BEACH BASKETBALL IN PORTUGAL

BeoBasket team will participate in II Mundialito tournament in Praia da Barra, Ilhavo, Portugal, 11th-15th July 2002-beach basketball. The tournament will play in the regular court (wooden) put in the famous beach Praia da Barra, with stadium for 4000 spectators. The rules of Beach basketball are similar with regular basketball game, but with some changes. The teams are consist of 8 players, 4 on the court and 4 on the bench. The games will be played 2 halftimes per 15 minutes. The most amazing rule is possibility for the players to score 4 points, if they score out of the line 7,25 m. Last season, American team won the tournament, beating Portuguese team in final. English team was the third, Croatian the fourth, Spanish the fifth and team from Marocco finished on the last spot.
