MORE THAN 100.000 PEOPLE WITH NATIONAL HEROES

Big celebration for the return of World's Champions in Yugoslavia. The Yugoslav President, mr. Vojislav Kostunica, and Prime Minister, mr. Dragisa Pesic, were at the Belgrade airport to wait for the National Team coming back from Indianapolis. Thousands of people, then, were long the road to center of city, where more than 100.000 supporters acclaimed the World's Champions in the Parliament square. In front of people shouting "We are the Champions!", the players showed themselves from the Parliament balcony, lifting the Trophy: "It's the best thing to play for you! Up with Yugoslavia! up with Serbia", captain Dejan Bodiroga yelled to enthusiastic crowd. At the end the players throw their T shirts to the people, and stayed half a naked on the balcony, dancing and singing with the people. The players celebrate their trophy in the Restaurant KOLING, last night.
