One of the top Yugoslavian centers, SLOBODAN SLJIVANCANIN (1972 209) who finished last season in Ovarense, retired, due to the problems with health (heart). Sljivancanin started his career in juniors team of Partizan, after that moved to OKK Belgrade (won the Cup) and Beovuk Belgrade, before he started to play abroad. He played in Dendi Basket Ukraine, Kaposhvar Hungary,Komfort Poland, Idea Slask Poland, Keravnos Cyprus, UNICS Russia, Pau France and Ovarense Portugal.He won the French league with Pau Ortez in the season 2000/01. He played 5 game for the national team of Macedonia, during the qualification for Euro 2003.Participated in played very well on BeoBasket Summer league, in June 2002.
