ALEKSANDER GOMELSKY DIED TODAY

The Father of Soviet Basketball, MR ALEKSANDER GOMELSKY died today in Moscow. He was born 1928 and was the most successfull coach in the history of Soviet Union basketball. He won 8 times European championship with former SSSR national team, as well as 2 World championships. He won one gold medal, one silver medal and two bronze medal from Olympic Games.
